What would you pay?

It seems that relative Content VS Price is coming up more and
more within our own community and it will still get worse before
it gets any better.

I worked in the Retail / Catering industry for many years before
getting into I.M. In many places I saw price wars become the focus
of most companies. From Contract Caterers to High Street Bar Chains.

The trouble was, that eventually price become so low, that nobody
could compete downwards in price any longer, so chose to start
being more SMART with their bid proposals.

It also happened in high street bars and restaurants. Price became
the dominant factor. Quality had to suffer, and sure enough it did.

Is our own market headed this way?

A good Case of Changing Tides:

At the time of all the high street manic price cuts, a company
called Mitchells & Butlers launched a new brand. It was called
Ember Inns, and they went after high calibre managers to launch
these sites for one reason.

They wanted the best, because price was not going to be the
only focal point of the business.

They went for quality, comfort, great service, friendly atmosphere
(something that was hard to find in some bars lol).

Their prices were higher than all the rest on the high street,
but they offered the consumer choice. An alternative that was not
built on price alone.

We have seen this arguement raised about Aweber pricing only this
week. My first reaction was “Damn those Aweber Guys, who do they
think they are..” But ultimately, if they give you something that
no other ‘generalist AR provider does or can’ in the high street
of the WWW, then it may not be long before they too are winning
the awards once again

Time will tell.

Price increase for increase sake, is no way to build customer
satisfaction. But sometimes, radical shake ups are needed.

Example in our own world of IM>

There is a PLR eBOOK site that delivers only 1 ebook per month
to it’s small membership base, and I believe they also now offer
graphics and a salesletter to go with it. They charge $97 per month
but only allow 150 people in the door.

Other sites will let you grab 3 PLR eBooks per month for less than
$10…. Which do you think delivers the quality for it’s end user?

BETA Launch

I have been looking for a way to seriously help others
to build a list and make money online.

At first I created a course called Profit from Affiliate
Marketing that included a script site. We had made the
site in-house and as a bonus to the Affiliate course
you got a full site that you simply edited some text
files to and uploaded it to your site.

People loved it as it helped those that had not been
able to make their own sites to get started with relative

The only issue is Clickbank did not want us giving away
scripts (????) still not sure why, but we had to remove

Doing that would put me out of business.

Now we have finally stumbled on to a site that really can
help anyone to make money online and work from home with
relative ease.

The site has a PLR product on sale for $17 rather than
paying the full $147 elsewhere. But that is not the real
gem to the site at all.

Once you pay for the product, you then get a report that
explains how the site is then designed to make you money
ongoing.

Not just in the beginning from one initial sale but to
continue to bring in sales for you via the sites newsletter.

For the first couple of days you get an email to ensure
you are settled in OK. If you have questions after reading
the site report, then there is a helpdesk you can contact.

Once in, you then get the main newsletter service, which
not only has some awesome offers and discounts over time,
but some cool free training, advice, scripts and ways
you can build your business ongoing.

So in essence it becomes a business in a box for only
the initial $17. Of course there are more products on
offer through the site newsletter and in sites you will
gain access to over time, but the real beauty is in the
main site itself.

wants and desires.

Provided that you actually make sure a market exists in the
first place, you can then make money.

But here is the BIGGEST stumbling block of all: TRAFFIC.

Have you noticed how virtually every Guru, bypasses this one
little issue as if it was never there?

The popular answers you get if you really push them are:

hmmmmm… Use Sig Files in forums. Write Articles, Post to a
Blog, set up a Squidoo Lens, and a HubPage, oh and get 81,342
friends on MySpace and Facebook whilst posting daily to
Craigs List and maybe buying $10,000 worth of PPC with Google.

Now let me cover one important point. These ACTUALLY do work,
and it is only those that put in place step 1 (Taking action)
that ever learn this.

But what if there was an easier way? What if you could do what
all the big corporations do to fill their wallets with cash,
without a Massive Expense to begin with?

Well there is, and you will go Crazy when you discover this!

I promise to let you know BEFORE anyone else when it goes live
and you can soon be banking the big bucks and building the lists
for your own niche markets with relative ease!

Basically I am fed up with price fixing with corporations who charge us much more
just because we live in another country…

charging us almost DOUBLE the price of the same product over in the USA!!

Before I get into my thoughts about something I spent my
afternoon just reading, I want to quote something from
the book that is a simple fact of life..

Why am I telling you this, and what is this email all
about?

Before I got into online marketing, I worked in pubs
and bars, so needed to know about marketing a business
offline.

And before that I was a regional manager & director
of sales and marketing for a recruitment company in the
UK, so my day to day responsibilty was to make sure the
company and its brand was known in the marketplace, a
competitive business to be in for sure.

The point here is that any business, both online and
offline needs to have a marketing plan.

The challenge any new business faces is the ability
to grow its business effectively, whilst not running
out of money in the back.

Cash flow is the heart attack of many young businesses,
the killer that stifles many entrepreneurs and creators.

So having ways to make marketing pay, and know how to
shape your business, you will soon discover that anything
in your business can be a profit center, and you do not
need to keep giving everything away for fre.e all the
time, but actually place a value on your business.

The one thing we can get hung up on (I certainly did in
the online world) is the problem that if I charge people
for my product, then I will not grow as fast, give it
away for fr.ee and I can build my list..

But wait a minute. Are we in business to build a list
of thousands that are used to paying nothing for our
content, or are we in it to make a living for ourselves?

If our content is something people want, then should I
charge for it anyway??

There is a fine line to walk, but understanding that what
you can and should be charging for is a great place
to be at.

Here is an example of fr.ee and paid that both get their
uses.

Some people set up video games review sites, where they
will share tips, hints and tricks that help people cheat
in a game, or at least improve their results

Often these sites give away this info for fr.ee. Sometimes
(if they are smart enough) they will at least ask for an
email address to then contact you later with other information.

Perhaps they may link as an affiliate to a new game coming
out that is relative to the one you asked about tips for.

They are then likely to get a sale.

But here is something interesting. Those same hints and tips
can also be found in gaming ‘manuals’ that walk you through
the game with hints, tips etc in some glossy magazine or
book style, but cost (in my opinion) loads of money.

Typically you can pay a third of the price of the actual
game for a walk through manual. Yet if you wanted to, you
could download most of the same information fr.ee on the
Internet.

Both of these approaches get results. The fr.ee site gets
their target market onto their site, but the book also sells
and often sells very well.

Marketing plays a big part in the success of these books and
where they are sold, and how

Before I take up your entire day & evening, I will get to the part
of summing up

Understanding how marketing works, will greatly enhance your
results in your business. Understanding how to make it pay
will get you much further along in the whole survival process.

A book I was given to download today to read, had me reaching
for my virtual notepad to type you this message by page 17, and
there are over 60 of them.

You are likely to hear alot about this report over the coming few
weeks, but remember you heard it here first (or pretty soon
anyway)…

I guess because of my own background in business, I associated
with this book right away. I hope you can learn even just one
good point from it for yourself, because I truly believe that
once you “get it”, you will find yourself approaching your own
business in a new light.

It may not even be available for actual download yet, but I know
that the site has a page up where you can learn more for yourself..

Plus of course it will cost nothing to go take a peak

How to Get on the Right Track

I am going to outline something here that
will give you a simple outline of a roadmap.

1) Make a List of what YOU are Passionate
about - Interests, Hobbies, Crafts, Trips you
made, Tech Stuff, Sports Stuff, you get the
picture.

2) Hop over to Amazon, look for the ‘Magazine’
Section and see if your Passion is listed in
anyway as a magazine subject. If it is, then
people are publishing periodicals with content
about YOUR passion. Otherwise check the book
section etc to see what comes up.

3) Do this for Ebay, Barnes and Noble and
Type your ‘Passion’ into Google to see what
results come up. Look on the right not just
the left on Google, see if anyone is PAYING
to advertise that passion you have an interest
for.

Some Quick Stats.

A Little While ago, I punched in some research
for a Niche that is quite big. Dog Grooming
We were doing some product research and it
was quite revealing.

2.2 Million Results for Dog Grooming on Google
We Took a Snap Shot of Advertisers PAYING to
be on the site.. Then we kept researching the
model.

(Todays Search info above)

At the time of research, the average cost per
click in this niche, was $0.54 with an expected
click ratio of 19-21 clicks per day if bidding
on the number 3 average position on Google for
THIS Keyword.

If you look at most of the ads showing, they
are about Dog Grooming Equipment, tools, courses
etc.

We then looked at Ebay. 966 results for Dog Grooming.
Again, supplies from clippers to Tables.

Over to Amazon, and we find books like the popular
Dummies series, this one on Dog Grooming.
There was also a listing for books, and even for
Dog Clippers on Amazon!

With some more research on the Organic side of
things, we find out that if we focus on our SEO
we could get a good ranking in a few short weeks
or months which would add to our PPC bidding in
the first few weeks.

we then hopped over to Namecheap. On domain
look ups, we found that doggroomingforbeginners.com
is actually available.

For 4 weeks, I tracked the ads on Google to see
who was still advertising. Amazingly, over 6 ads
were consistently being repeated day in day out
for the same search term.

Does this Mean Anything to you yet???

A quick peak on Clickbank found a related product
that has been top of the charts for over 2 years
http://www.kingdomofpets.com/dogobediencetraining

So here is the thing.

You could create over 5 business models from this
information. You could create great quality content
related sites and earn from adsense.

You could create a “review” style site on Dog
Obedience training, then promote just the clickbank book
as a great and cheaper alternative to taking your pet
to dog obedience training.

You could set up a site loaded with content, then
add in Ebay bidding products, Amazon links and even
Commission Junction links to related products.

The list is endless.

BTW: I did not purchase that domain, or set up the
site as I am not passionate about this area, and
neither is Lizel, but we HAVE done this in other
Niche Markets. This is one I researched briefly to
use as our example. But their is HUGE potential in
this Niche still if you are passionate about it!
